Fragrance & Cosmetics Sales Associate

Kirk Freeport is looking for experienced fragrances and cosmetics sales associates to join our company. We are looking for someone who is committed to and passionate about beauty, elegance and personal care. Kirk Freepport offers a wide variety of premium cosmetic brands. As a Fragrance & Cosmetics Sales Associate, your responsibilities will include assisting clients with purchases, educating them on the products and building out the brands and products offered at Kirk Freeport.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

– Approach and engage with customers in a friendly, professional and courteous manner.
– Offer expert advice on make-up and skincare routines.
– Know the features, advantages and benefits of cosmetics and advise customers on routines and personalized product selection for purchase.
– Demonstrate the products with confidence.
– Plan and take part in store promotional events and master classes to attract new clients and encourage brand loyalty.
– Closing sales, upselling and cross selling products.
– Process transactions accurately and efficiently by operating the POS system.
– Handle customer inquiries, returns, and concerns with care.
– Build relationships and retain customers through exceptional service and follow-up.
– Assist in daily inventory set-up, breakdown and counting,
– Assist in stock control.
– Assist with ad hoc events.
– Attend training courses, brand and company training.
– Meet or exceed sales goals and achieve performance targets.

Qualifications:

– Previous cosmetic retail experience is preferred and would be an advantage. Minimum of 3-4 years preferred.
– Cosmetology, certifications or related qualifications would be an advantage.
– Must be a High School graduate. Tertiary qualifications would be an advantage.
– Portfolio of evidence – previous makeup done, skincare routines demonstrated.
– Professional appearance with high levels of integrity and esteemed work ethic.
– Knowledgeable and confident in beauty, makeup, skincare and fragrances.
– Closing sales, upselling and cross selling products.
– Ability to work under pressure to meet & exceed challenging but rewarding sales targets.
– Outgoing, confident and sales driven.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to work in a customer-focused environment.
– Be dependable with the ability and willingness to work weekends, bank holidays and holiday season.
– Attend training courses, brand and company training.
– Trustworthy, honest and a team player.
