We celebrated the Grand Opening of our Breitling Boutique with a special VIP event and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, 28 April 2016. Remarks were delivered by Mauricio Diaz of Breitling and Chris Kirkconnell, with the keynote speech and official opening by Hon Premier Alden McLaughlin.
Our VIP guests were welcomed by models with refreshments, and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, an aerial circus act, freshly rolled cigars in the cigar lounge, music and an exclusive first viewing of the brand new 2016 Breitling collection.
We are proud to be the exclusive retailer of Breitling in the Cayman Islands, and have a close relationship with the brand that also retains independent, family ownership. The Cayman Islands Breitling Boutique, opened in December 2015 and the first of it’s kind in the Western Caribbean, has already started performing as one of the top ten Breitling Boutiques in the world, alongside locations such as Las Vegas, New York, Dubai, Tokyo, London and many more.
“Our family has a great long-term relationship with Breitling, and we were very proud to be selected as the first location in the West Caribbean to host a Breitling Boutique” said Chris Kirkconnell, Vice-President of Operations of Kirk Freeport. “The Grand Opening was an opportunity to invite some of our best friends and clients to share in a night of celebration for both Kirk Freeport and Breitling, and to toast the future of our newest location in Cayman.”
